The Artisan Market provides handcrafted, home baked, and locally grown items for the community on a seasonal schedule the 2nd & 4th Saturdays, 9am-2pm at Shaw’s Marketplace. Artisans, farmers, artists and bakers alike will be providing hand crafted items, woodwork, fresh baked breads, pastries, jams, farm fresh eggs, homemade soaps, jewelry, unique art, custom hats and more! The mission of the market is to provide a location for local artisans to come together and sell their craft, and for the community of Brownwood to have a place to buy locally and support their neighbors.

📍Pecan Bayou Paddling Trail at Fabis Primitive Park is a gorgeous, wildlife rich paddling trail ranging from 3-7 miles depending on how long you want to paddle! The Pecan Bayou is an overflow from Lake Brownwood, providing a slow moving current perfect for a leisurely day of paddling or angling!🎣 Find rental kayaks and shuttles nearby to make your journey even easier.
